Currently Coveting: self-potrait dress

I was browsing for frocks on ASOS, when a guipere lace midi dress from british brand, self-potrait, caught my attention. I decided to take a look the selection that ASOS had to offer and it wasn't disappointing.

70s Flare-evolution

Good Morning Ladies and Gents,

How goes your week? The past couple of days has been quite chilly here in the Twin Cities and it's going to be a sweater and jacket situation until the weekend.  It gets to be a tricky time of the year for transitioning from winter to spring/summer wardrobe due to the flucatations in the weather.

Fashion in Film: A Most Violent Year

As an ardent fan of the gangster genre, I was excited to see A Most Violent Year, directed and written
by J.C. Chandor. The film is set in New York City in 1981. It is about an immigrant business owner, Abel(Oscar Isaac) who is dealing with several crisis as he races to make the biggest deal of his career.  It follows Abel navigate the gray areas as he builds his empire and reputation on what he thinks are fair and honest priniciples in an industry where most of his competitors are either crooked or mobsters.
