I was so excited about Blue Jamsine because I love Woody Allen flicks. Blue Jasmine is brillant and is relevant to our times.
I laughed the whole time. I enjoyed the complexity and neurosis of the main character, Jasmine as played by Cate Blanchett. It features a character who is bent on keeping up appearances and her desperation to return to her former lifestyle. The other main characters in the film also happen to be Jasmine's tan Hermes Birkin bag and her classic Chanel Tweed Jacket. They frame her identity throughout the film as remainders of her former lifestyle. I really recommend that everyone see this flick.
